What we offer

Therapy that meets you
at real-life milestones.

Anxiety
treatment

Practical tools to quiet the mental spiral — grounding techniques, thought reframing, and the language to understand what your body is telling you.

Teens & young adults
CBT-based

Depression

Gentle, goal-oriented work to find footing when motivation feels out of reach.

Couples

Communication, intimacy, and the shared work of building a life together.

Life
transitions

Dating, engagement, marriage, new parenthood — the big shifts that rearrange you.

PMADs &
postpartum

Support through postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, with warmth and no shame.

Trauma-informed throughout.

Every session, every modality, practiced with a trauma-informed lens — paced carefully, grounded in safety, centered on your consent. It's not a specialty we offer; it's the baseline we practice from.

Our approach

Evidence-based, creatively delivered.

We draw on proven modalities — then adapt them to how you actually think, feel, and process. No two sessions look the same. That's by design.

01

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Identify the thought patterns driving how you feel, then rebuild the ones that aren't serving you.

02

Solution-focused therapy

Less time dwelling on what's broken, more time building concrete strategies for what's next.

03

Narrative & talk therapy

Your story is the material. We help you tell it differently — and notice what changes when you do.

04

Creative & expressive techniques

For when words run out. Drawing, metaphor, movement — whatever helps the feeling get through.

05

Trauma-informed care

Pacing, safety, and consent woven into every interaction. Your nervous system is part of the work.

06

Collaborative goal-setting

You define success. We check in regularly and adjust — because therapy should be measurable, not mysterious.

Who we help

You might
recognize yourself here.

Stage 01

Teens

School pressure, shifting friendships, the first real weight of anxiety. We help build the vocabulary and coping tools that make this phase feel less impossible.

  • Anxiety & panic
  • Academic pressure
  • Identity & confidence
  • Family dynamics
Stage 02

Young adults

Figuring out what you want — in work, in relationships, in yourself. We help you slow down enough to actually hear your own answer.

  • Life transitions
  • Dating & relationships
  • Depression
  • Career & direction
Stage 03

Couples & parents

Pre-engagement through early parenthood. Communication, intimacy, postpartum, fertility — the seasons that ask the most of a relationship.

  • Premarital counseling
  • Intimacy & communication
  • Postpartum mood & anxiety
  • Fertility struggles
What clients say

Quiet, honest feedback.

"
I walked in not knowing how to talk about what I was feeling. I left with language, with tools, and — maybe most — with the sense that someone was really with me in it.

"
Sessions feel like an actual conversation. Structured, but not stiff. I look forward to Tuesdays.
Teen client · working with Dassie

We came in for couples work and left with tools we still use a year later.

FAQ

Practical things, answered.

Still have a question? Email us directly — real humans answer.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
+
If something feels stuck, heavy, or bigger than you can hold alone — therapy might help. You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to begin. A free 15-minute consultation is a good, low-stakes way to see if we're the right fit before committing.
What does a first session look like?
+
The first session is about getting to know you — what brought you in, what you're hoping for, and a little context about your life. No homework, no pressure. By the end, we'll outline a loose plan together, and you'll have a clearer sense of what ongoing work might look like.
Do you accept insurance?
+
We're out-of-network but provide monthly superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. We're happy to walk you through how to check your out-of-network benefits during your consultation.
How long does therapy take?
+
It varies. Some clients reach their goals in a few months of weekly sessions; others appreciate longer-term support. We check in regularly on progress and goals, so you're never wondering whether the work is moving forward.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
+
Yes — we offer both in-person sessions at our Woodmere, NY office and secure telehealth sessions throughout New York State. Many clients choose a mix depending on their week.
What are your rates?
+
Standard 45-minute sessions are $295. Couples sessions are $320. Sliding-scale appointments are available for clients experiencing financial hardship — please ask during your consultation.
